Another sponsor drops Savage

Honda throws talk radio shock jock Michael Savage under the bus for his intemperate and misinformed comments about autism. Sears, Radio Shack, Hoover Vacuum and others have also distanced themselves from Savage Nation.

Dear Mr. ___,

Your communication regarding Michael Savage has been referred to me.

An American Honda automobile radio commercial mistakenly ran in the Michael Savage “Savage Nation” radio program in the San Diego and New York markets. We have taken immediate steps to ensure that all national and regional Honda advertising be pulled from this program permanently.

Honda is the second sponsor I’m aware of to use the old “our ad was run by mistake” excuse, but that’s OK. Savage’s boss has to be worried. With sponsorship dried up, Savage will either have to quit, or become a pro bono bonehead. His choice, I suppose.

I wish some of Autism Speaks corporate donors would throw it under the bus. They are every bit as bad as Savage, or worse as far as doing real harm to autistic children and adults. :-/ Not that Savage should get away with his idiocy, of course, but he’s less offensive to me than Bob Wright.

I don’t think it’s because any of them care what happens to auties, but because of the pernicious effect of Media Matters, a George Soro$-funded tranzi astroturf organization. The Savage Weiner is an obnoxious nyj for sure, but I think I’ll look up his remaining sponsors and try to buy something from one of them. And, yes, he’s wrong about autism. I just hate to see anyone bullied by the left.

Media Matters records comments made by folks in the media and makes them available on a website. How is that “bullying”?

They cherry-pick the comments, from what I’ve heard; that is, they don’t post complete transcripts, just the parts which they think make their victims look bad. Make no mistake, they are very partisan with a very tranzi agenda. They provide the angry talking points for leftists to use when trying to sway rational people.

Orwell was right about people like that; they want a government boot on everyone’s neck, forever.

Leftism=mass murder by government. I include Hitler and Mussolini, as well as Lenin and Stalin, as leftists.

“I do believe that all forms of collectivism, even limited-liability corporations, are evil”

I guess that would include families as well.
